We hosted Innovate UK at our Indonesian test site

A group of Innovate UK officers, business leaders, and representatives from the British Embassy visited our floating solar farm in Indonesia — a unique asset as Indonesia’s first ocean-based solar farm, providing electricity to a remote island that previously only had diesel generators.

The Head of Energy at Innovate UK and other governmental leaders offered generous praise for this project, recognising the significant impact that it is making. They were also pleased to see Cranfield demonstrating such a strong example of effective public funding in action.
